Managing Releases

Every release moves through a defined lifecycle. Here's what each status means and what you can do at each stage.

Status Lifecycle

1.Submitted

Your request has been received. Our team is reviewing your input.

Your action: Wait for draft generation (usually within a few hours).

2.Draft Generated

AI has created the initial draft with headline options and full body copy.

Your action: The draft is sent to the journalist panel for review.

3.Panel Reviewed

All 16 journalist personas have provided feedback.

Your action: Our team refines the draft based on panel feedback.

4.Admin Approved

The refined draft has passed our internal quality check.

Your action: The draft is sent to you for review.

5.Awaiting Your Review

The draft is ready for your review. This status requires your action.

Your action: Review the draft and either approve, request changes, or provide feedback.

6.Feedback Received

We've received your feedback and are incorporating your changes.

Your action: Wait for the revised draft (usually within 24 hours).

7.Approved

You've approved the draft. It moves to final review.

Your action: No action needed — we're finalizing your release.

8.Final Review

Final proofreading and formatting before publication.

Your action: Our team does a final quality pass.

9.Final Approved

The release has passed final review.

Your action: Moves to quality review.

10.Quality Review

A senior editor reviews the release for quality standards.

Your action: Last check before publication.

11.Quality Approved

The release has met all quality standards.

Your action: Ready for publication.

12.Published

Your release is live on the Showcase and has been distributed to journalists.

Your action: Track views, shares, and journalist clicks on your dashboard.

13.Needs Revision

The release needs changes before it can proceed. This can happen at any stage.

Your action: Check the admin notes for specific revision requests.

14.Rejected

The release did not meet our quality standards. This is rare.

Your action: Contact support to discuss next steps or submit a new request.
